Devany Browning, M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist, Owner Orofacial Myologist (MyoMethod training)
Devany received a Master Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Utah in 2014. She has over 14 years experience in Special Education, including over 10 years as a licensed & certified Speech Language Pathologist. She has received training in PROMPT therapy, Social Thinking, and is a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. Her areas of expertise include: Language Disorders, Social Skills, Articulation, Autism, and Literacy/Dyslexia.
Devany also enjoys yoga, biking, and a good British novel or mini series. She has enjoyed exploring many national and state parks in Utah since moving with her family to Heber City in 2018, including camping & hiking with her husband and two kids.
Tracy Janes, M.S. CCC-SLP
Tele-Speech Language Pathologist
Tracy graduated from Utah State University with a Master of Education in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA).
Over the last 20 years, Tracy has provided services in the public school system and privately through tele-health for a variety of clients. She has provided treatment for disorders including articulation, expressive /receptive language delays & Autism. She also has several years of experience treating reading and phonological awareness difficulties. She has experience working with children from preschool to post-high.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys watching her 4 kids play sports and participate in their activities. She loves to be outside with her family.

Rebeca Cruz, M.S. CF-SLP
Rebeca graduated in 2025 from the University of Utah with a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. She is currently in her clinical fellowship year under the supervision of Devany Browning. She provides speech and language services in both English and Spanish, with native level skills in both. Outside of work, Rebeca enjoys playing piano, visiting Mexico, and spending quality time with friends and family. You can also be sure to catch her on the mountains skiing in the winter!
Stephanie Schirman, M.S. Ed. S
Reading Specialist / Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner
"Working and connecting with children has always been a passion of mine, and to this day I find great pleasure in being able to enrich the lives of students!" Stephanie began her educational path with a Bachelor's degree in Child & Family Studies, after which she began working with preschoolers and then moved into special education. She later earned a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling.
In 2022, Stephanie became certified as a Literacy Specialist in the Wilson Reading Program. She also has a multitude of knowledge in various reading methods. Her approach is to target the needs of each student, then create an individual plan to gain the skills necessary for building success in reading and writing while fostering growth in their confidence.

Lisa Remund, B.S. Ed
With a degree in elementary education from Brigham Young University, Lisa Remund has spent over 15 years in school settings, passionately helping children develop reading skills and fostering a love for learning in young minds. It is important for children to enjoy the reading and writing process; therefore, she strives to create engaging learning experiences that nurture confidence and curiosity. Along with her husband she has parented six children and been involved with their education. She adores spending time with them along with her five grandchildren. Hobbies include reading, playing pickleball, playing the piano, crafting stained glass, working on jigsaw puzzles, and enjoying games of all kinds.
Jennifer Howell, B.S. Ed
Reading + Life Skills Math Specialist
Educational Consultant (IEP review)
Jennifer’s path toward becoming a Reading Specialist began as she learned to support her daughter, who has dyslexia, in navigating school. This experience inspired Jenn to pursue an additional degree in Special Education from Utah State University. She now has over six years of teaching experience in Reading Intervention and in supporting students who have had a wide range of needs—including focus and behavior challenges, cognitive disabilities, and specific learning difficulties through Special Education services.
She is trained in Structured Literacy and multisensory instructional approaches and hold certifications in Smarter Intervention and as a CERI Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher, with additional reading specialist training underway. She also supports students in math, particularly those whose learning disabilities make number sense or grade-level concepts difficult, as well as students who benefit from individualized, one-on-one instruction tailored to their learning styles.
Jenn is passionate about helping students understand how their brains learn, build confidence and belonging, and experience meaningful success in reading, math, and throughout their academic journeys.

Nicholle Ryan, M.S. CCC-SLP
Nicholle is originally from Portland, OR and currently lives in the Kansas City area. She received a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Utah in 2014. She has worked with children aged 3-21 both in the school setting and in private practice. Nicholle’s SLP expertise includes articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, social communication difficulties, and stuttering.
In recent years, she has completed additional training in literacy development and intervention including completing a two year LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training course. Outside of work, Nicholle enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing, hiking, camping, and reading.
Dyslexia Evaluator
Lisa M. Crellin, M.A.T., CALT-QI
After experiencing the often confusing and conflicting messages around how a child learns to read, Lisa decided to further her education so she could advocate for parents, caregivers, and their children who struggle with reading.
Lisa holds a Master of Teaching degree from Colorado College. She completed further clinical hours to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and Qualified CALT Instructor, training other specialists in the field of dyslexia remediation. Lisa is President of the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) and a board member of the ALTA Charitable Foundation. She is also a member of International Dyslexia Association (IDA).
Lisa taught reading students privately and at an elementary school. She also worked for Children’s Hospital Colorado as a Learning Specialist. Currently, she spends her time providing literacy evaluations for struggling readers. She believes that understanding both a child’s strengths and weakness can be instrumental in helping them reach their potential.
Lisa loves living in the beautiful Midway valley. She finds a lot of joy being part of her grandchildren’s lives, enjoys a good book, and pilates.
Megan Wilmarth, R.N., B.S.N.
Family Liason/ Communication Specialist
Megan brings a unique blend of medical training, educational leadership, and individual advocacy to her work with families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Biola University and has worked as a CTICU and NICU Nurse and Lactation Counselor, supporting families through some of their most tender and formative moments.
For the past six years, Megan has founded and directed a thriving local homeschool co-op serving over 70 students annually, and she has homeschooled her own children for the last eight years. Through this work - and through navigating and advocating for her own child’s speech and academic needs – she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges families face and the importance of clear communication, collaboration, and compassionate support.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys skiing, camping, and adventuring with her husband and two children. She also loves gardening, reading, and experimenting with gluten-free baking.
